I LOST

We watched suns-fold in together,
swerved rocks over water.

Now you're drowning with hate.
Light refuses to resurface.

I have lost it,
lost the corner stone for my heart.

My palms thrust it,I smiled as it skid away.
Replay,I do so recapturing the final loop.
That your tongue pointed at,as it submerged.

I lost my voice,
lost words that could have saved me this sorrow.

Below,my rock gradually turns to carbon,
instantly to diamond.

From here, where she no longer is.
I see her valuable twinkle and sparkle by the ocean bed.

I cannot dive in for her.
Like I said,
I have lost her.
Lost the treasure I once had.
